Where We Went

    Elysian Park

Our first trip was to Elysian Park, it is located by Dodger Stadium. The park is very big with lots of trees and grass. We did a lot of fun activities like 4 way pull, where we all had to work together to score points. We also played a game where we pretended that there was toxic waste and we all had to cross over it without falling in. We only had five mats to use amongst seven people, it was hard but fun. One of our favorite games was the human knot. We all grabbed each others hands to make one big knot then we had to untangle ourselves.

    Franklin Canyon Park

Our Second trip was to beautiful Franklin Canyon. In the canyon we went exploring. We saw many living organisms like plants, trees, ducks, fish, and turtles! We went hiking and on the hike took pictures of the nine systems in nature. During our hikes we had to watch out for poison oak and rattlesnakes.

    Clifford School Community

Our last trip was a walk around our community. It was a long community walk almost two miles. We did the community walk to see what our neighborhood was like and to see how we use the nine systems. We saw art, graffiti, and some trash but we picked it up and put it in a bag. We saw a lot of graffiti some of it looks bad and some of it is pretty like art. We also noticed a lot of people in our neighborhood have dogs. We like our neighborhood.
