What We Learned

We used to have fights about what we could do as a tribe, now we listen to each other and then we decide what is best for our tribe, and if some one does not like the idea we see what we can do to compromise. We also accomplished our mission and helped our community.  Teamwork is also what we accomplished, and I think that is very important.

We achieved many things during Full Circle. We have not only learned how to build fire, make rope out of yucca, and use our five senses, but also achieved the ability to work together and have a good time. We achieved to make things and agree, to use teamwork to get places. We made new friends.

During Full Circle, we were taken out into our community.  After we came back from the trip around our community we recognized the issues and how we could fix them.  By doing this, we became more environmentally aware.

We also visited a protected park for wildlife, called Franklin Canyon.  There, we became more aware of the wildlife living in our community, parks, and other places around the world.  We, as humans, realized that if we did not stop the destruction of animal habitats, we might lose some of the greatest creatures on Earth.

We expected a lot from each field trip because we had a lot of fun on the previous ones.  We wanted a factual, informational, and at the same time, entertaining experience.  Our counselors actually asked us to go out and test or experiment our questions.
